Within its off-production activity, the Heat and Power Plant Elbląg offers the following waste materials to reuse within the meaning of the Act of 27th April 2001 on waste materials (Journal of Laws 2001 no. 62 item 628):

1. fly ash from fine coal combustion  – waste code 10 01 02

2. slag from fine coal combustion             - waste code 10 01 01

3. copper, bronze, brass                             - waste code 17 04 01

4. aluminium                                                 - waste code 17 04 02

5. iron and steel                                               - waste code 17 04 05

6. cables                                                           - waste code 17 04 11

Control of production covers collecting and examining ash samples during coal combustion:
- once / day (medium sample) to check the combustible parts content in ash
- once / month (medium sample) to check the natural radioactivity coefficient, according to national procedures.

Sale conditions:

• The purchase may be made by:
  natural people (except for item 1)
  legal people after prior obtaining appropriate decision (Act of 27th April 2001 on waste materials)

• Loading is at the expense of the seller

• Transport up to 24 km in both directions is at the expense of the seller (concerns item 2)

• In January and February as well as in November and December there are significant price discounts for the sold fly ash.

The sale runs from Monday to Friday from 7.00 am to 2.00 pm.
